The countdown to La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail begins on Tuesday, September 1, when registrations open for the event taking place from May 14 to 16 and celebrating the twelfth chapter in GTT history.

As tradition dictates, a special offer is once again available to participants of the previous edition: confirmation at a special rate from August 20 to 31.

A new and revamped edition will feature five races, ranging from 100 to 12 kilometres:

• La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail Extra will be the new ultratrail on a fully marked course, taking over from the self-navigation challenges offered over the past four years. The summit of Monte Stivo, the descent towards the shores of Lake Garda and then the connection with the historic Garda Trentino Trail route will be the key features. Total elevation gain: 5,800 metres. Start at 9:00 pm on Friday, May 14, from Arco.
   

• La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail has been and will remain the flagship race, the one where it all began. But with a major new feature: the start and finish will be in the heart of Arco, from where runners will reach Riva del Garda along new trails that have already been explored during our Xmas Trail. The distance increases to 75 kilometres, with 4,000 metres of elevation gain. Start at 7:00 am on Saturday, May 15.
   

• La Sportiva Ledro Trail will remain unchanged compared with recent editions. Forty-four kilometres from the shores of Lake Ledro to Arco, along the Sentiero della Pace, the most spectacular and exposed section of GTT. Start at 10:30 am from the lakeside in Pieve di Ledro.
   

• La Sportiva Tenno Trail will also introduce a new feature, although not on the course itself, but in the starting time: a 10:00 am start on Saturday, May 15, for a 30-kilometre challenge from Arco to Arco, passing through the medieval villages of Tenno and the lake with its unparalleled emerald colour.
   

• La Sportiva Garda Trentino Castle Run will once again bring the weekend to a close on Sunday: the short but breathtaking race featuring a double ascent to Arco Castle, which wrote so many unforgettable pages in the history of mountain running over the past decade. Start at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 16.
