La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail marks a new beginning in our adventure, a twelfth edition packed with new features, some already revealed and others still to come.

Starting with the race distances: the experience gained over four years of self-navigation Extra races has led to the creation of the first 100-kilometre ultratrail in Garda Trentino on a fully marked course, supported by 8 aid stations. And there are many more highlights to come, as we wait to reveal all the secrets of the 2027 edition.

• La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail Extra will be the new ultratrail on a fully marked course, taking up the legacy of the self-navigation challenges held over the past four years. The summit of Monte Stivo, the descent towards the shores of Lake Garda and then the connection with the historic Garda Trentino Trail course will be the key sections. Total elevation gain: 5,800 metres. Start at 9:00 pm on Friday, May 14, from Arco.
   

• La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail has been and will remain the flagship race, the one from which it all began. But with one major new feature: the start and finish will be in the heart of Arco, from where runners will reach Riva del Garda along new trails that have already been explored during our Xmas Trail. The distance increases to 75 kilometres, with 4,000 metres of elevation gain. Start at 7:00 am on Saturday, May 15.
   

• La Sportiva Ledro Trail will remain unchanged compared with recent editions. Forty-four kilometres from the shores of Lake Ledro to Arco, along the Peace Trail, the most exposed section of GTT. Start at 10:30 am from the beach at Pieve di Ledro.
   

• La Sportiva Tenno Trail will also feature a new element, although not so much in the course as in the start time: the race will start at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 15, with 30 kilometres from Arco to Arco, passing through the medieval villages of Tenno and the lake with its incomparable emerald colour.
   

• La Sportiva Garda Trentino Castle Run will once again close the weekend on Sunday: the short but breathtaking race featuring a double ascent to Arco Castle, which wrote so many unforgettable pages in mountain running over the past decade. Start at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 16.
